Black Pine Animal Sanctuary, Savings and Zoo Park Description for 2024

The Black Pine Animal Sanctuary, formerly known as Black Pine Animal Park opened its doors in 1994. It sits on 18 acres of land and is home to exotic animals that were either kept as pets or retired from performing in the circus. The total of animals kept in the sanctuary ranges from 75 to 100 from 40 to 50 species which some are endangered.

The zoo is funded by different educational programs including guided tours, school field trips, summer camps for kids, and special events. The zoo houses the exotic animals throughout a partially wooded area in natural habitats. Some of them are housed in buildings. The sanctuary has spring break tours, guided tours, and even virtual tours on their website.
