           It a mall zoo packed with fun and all! Offering educational programs while enjoying afternoon of family-friendly activities revolving around exotic animals. Established in 1905, the Brandywine Zoo was chartered as Delaware's first zoo, and to this day remains its only zoo. There are goats to pet, a small snack shop, and the animals are pretty close to the walkway. The Brandywine Zoo has an area of 82 acres in order to house all of its animals.The Brandywine Zoo is home to a variety of species of mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians. About 150 creatures currently live at the Zoo, which focuses on animals native to the Americas and the temperate areas of Asia. All enjoy life natural settings and welcome your everyday visits.
