          There was so much to do, pack up the whole gang and drive down to Living Desert Zoo and Gardens. Enjoy the sight from the animals, to the tram ride, the train exhibit, animal hospital and playground. The Living Desert's mission is desert conservation through preservation, education and appreciation. Accredited by Association of Zoos and Aquariums, it exhibits more than 40 species of animals and hundreds of species of plants native to the Chihuahuan Desert. The park provides an up-close experience for visitors, with a variety of fun interpretive programs for every season geared for the entire family. The Living Desert includes a 1,200 acre zoo and botanical garden. Among the animals featured at the zoo include bobcats, zebras, giraffes, golden eagles, mountain lions, wolves, and more. It offers the opportunities for spectators to get close to the Desert wildlife and see all that it has to offer.
