Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo, Savings and Zoo Park Description for 2024

The Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo sits on 80 acres and holds over 500 animals. It has many different events and activities including an Easter Egg Extravaganza as well as the Wet and Wild event. This zoo has many animals including swans, hippos, kangaroos, reptiles, peacocks, parrots, and much more.

They also have many attractions including a boat ride, a horse drawn carriage ride, a train ride through the zoo, and much more. The zoo actually began in 1923 with only 15 cages. It was first seen by the visitors as a snake and swamp infested area. However, these days it is much better as in the past 20 years the building continued and more exhibits were bought as well as the items purchased for the attractions.
