Wolf Park, Savings and Zoo Park Description for 2017
Wolf Park was started in 1972 by Dr. Erich Klinghammer. It is not just a zoo but also a non-profit research and education center on wolves. Not only does this facility research and educate about wolf behavior but it is also a good place for interpretive programs for school groups as long as they prearrange the trip beforehand. Although it is mainly to research and educate about the behavior of wolves, it is also open to the public from May to November. You can also enjoy Saturday nights for Howl Nights. You will find many packs of gray wolves as well as foxes, bison, and coyotes here. This zoo, education, and research center also has a camp for children and a calendar of events for all year round learning and fun.
